SockMoney - Help & Frequently Asked Questions

Which locations earn most?

We do not prioritize specific areas over others. However, our SDK allocates jobs to the nearest worker, and most jobs originate from the EU and US. That said, users from other regions can still earn, and payouts can rise if traffic shifts globally.

Where does the money come from?

Clients worldwide pay for network access or data collection used for market research, ad fraud detection, price comparison engines, SEO tools, and similar services. SockMoney was created to build a decentralized marketplace for residential networks, reducing reliance on large data centers.

How much do I make?

Earnings vary based on your location, bandwidth, IP score, and connectivity. Since some partner networks obscure exact data, the displayed value is an estimate derived from routed traffic, with potential variations of around $0.10 either side.

How do I withdraw?

Currently, we support Direct Payment (Bank Transfer) and Crypto (BTC, ETH). We plan to add support for WebMoney (WMZ) and additional cryptocurrencies as development progresses.

Is my country blocked?

No, SockMoney does not block any countries. You can participate worldwide.

Can I earn on multiple devices?

Earnings are tied to your IP. Running multiple devices on the same LAN will not increase earnings. However, using devices across different networks scales your income linearly.

How much bandwidth does it use?

SockMoney limits usage to around 1GB per day. You will receive a notification if bandwidth usage spikes so you can monitor and manage activity safely.

What devices do you support?

Currently, SockMoney runs on Windows 10 and newer. We are working on adding support for other operating systems in the future.
